Important Information
All waiver requests must be made in writing to the NHSA Director of Coaching. Candidates that have collegiate playing experience or at least 5 years coaching experience at the U-15 level or above, may be given permission to attend the D Level course directly. Being granted a waiver does not mean that a license has been issued. It only means that permission has been given to enter the coaching schools at a higher level. Coaches that currently hold a license from a soccer association of a different country should write the NHSA Director of Coaching with proper documentation of the course that was taken. In this case, waivers will be granted on an individual basis. All courses are participatory in nature. The candidates are asked to demonstrate and participate in actual playing environments to the extent that they are able. Candidates are asked to bring a ball along with water, a notebook and pen and be dressed to play. To set up a course: Club or league representatives can contact the NHSA Director of Coaching. The course administrator is responsible for securing a facility, registering candidates, communicating course information to all candidates and managing during the course. Minimum number of participants: G, Youth Modules & E - 15 participants, D - 20 participants.

| 'F' Level Coaching Certificate | Host a Course | Course Schedule | U6/U8 Youth Module & U10/U12 Youth Module Certificates
In
1996, US Soccer's coaching programs developed a National License that
was designed to specifically address the needs and developmental
characteristics of players at the U-6 to U-12 ages. Many of us saw this
as a long overdue move, eagerly embracing and promoting the concepts,
philosophies and teaching methods that are advocated at this course. We
quickly refined many of the courses ideas, and subsequently developed
modules that will be taught at the State Level. These "State Youth
Modules" replaced the 'F' license course.
U6/U8 Youth Module (Candidates must be 12 years or older.) Cost: $35 for NHSA Member or $70 for Non-Member
U10/U12 Youth Module (Candidates must be 14 years or older.) Cost: $45 for NHSA Member or $90 for Non-Member
